X-Ray is a technique also known as radiography which uses x-rays (ionizing radiations of frequency 0.1-10nm) to provide visual image of body’s interior structure in which dense parts of body like bones appear white (as they absorb maximum x-rays passing through them) while air filled organs like lungs and other air filled areas of the body appear black and finally muscles,fats and fluid filled spaces or parts appear gray.
