At the department of cardiology, we offer comprehensive cardiac care with invasive and non-invasive diagnostic cardiovascular services for our patients with “Human Touch”. This includes consultation with one of our cardiologists as well as an on-going evaluation and management of cardiovascular problems. We believe that prevention of heart disease offers the best outcome, and we offer services designed to promote primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. The thorough evaluation starting physical examination to determine if further testing (lab work or other diagnostic testing) is an indication to reduce the odds of cardiac events or disease in the future.
Any type of heart disease – Coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart attack – though shares similar warning signs but they require different treatments. Hence it is important to see your doctor so that you can receive a correct diagnosis and prompt treatment.

This period of time is referred to as the “golden hour” in the context of the management of heart attacks. It is a widely held belief that the first hour after a heart attack is the most critical period in which to begin appropriate therapy in order to restore blood flow to the portion of the heart that was damaged. During this time, emergency services can:
• Assess and stabilize the patient
• Administer oxygen
• Provide medications
• Transport the patient to a cardiac facility
The golden hour is important because Heart muscle death
Heart muscle begins to die within 80–90 minutes after it stops getting blood.
